I thought this was an interesting story but then got more and more annoyed by how dumb the mc is. For a supposedly clever and capable person, she's becoming dumber by the chapter.
Wdym you, who have read the novel and know everything about the crazy crown prince who is always scheming to implicate the duke, went roaming around the manor knowing full well that the crazy bastard is coming and you shouldn't be seen by him? For someone who claims to be a homebody that always wants to stay in bed, you weirdly chose to go out and get some air instead of resting in bed while you have a fever, the ONE TIME it actually matters that you stayed in your room.
Also, everything she did during the kidnapping attempt SCREAMED brainless behavior. You got a secret note from the duke telling you not to open the door for anyone until morning and then the next second, you went and opened said door because a child you just met today was calling you? Fck, if i were the duke, I'd let her stupid ass get kidnapped. Why bother saving someone with the survival instinct of a fart?
