im responding because i have (10 years) on a childhood friend and yes it is, you get used to it but if you have a period of time where you don't talk then it gets worse and you have to "get used to it" again. if certain actions take me by surprise, i'm an open book person and it shows on my face easily. besides being an open book in these moments im actually considered fairly stiff and untelling, so i can imagine how easily it shows for some people haha
and scents, closeness, slight actions, feeling yourself blush so hard, etc it depends on how that person feels a crush, but it happened to me so it definitely is real and possible ╥﹏╥
it's probably because i've never had this kind of years long unrequited love before but is it that hard to not stop your emotions from showing on face and to not stutter and stuff in front of your crush
