And tbh why do you care? The ending was as you liked, if you enjoyed it so much focus your energy on paying the author and let ppl write whatever/do whatever. It is still canon but ppl can write stories, make edits and create doujinshis (ppl from both/all sides -I'm fan of TJ x Jo) as they like.
