You've got a pretty interesting take. I somewhat agree but I think, between Catherine and Chezare, at least there is kindness and cordality. They are still mutually trying to make it work. For any couple, respect is more important than love.
I think Percival is just Caesar in a different coloured font. Catherine and Caesar are already in path of obsession, so it's funny to see here preach about obsession to Percival when she's with the Master of Obsession.
I don't see Catherine and Caesar lasting together their entire life and the fall out will be messy in every interaction. Unless Caesar dies before things go nuclear, there's no way Catherine won't be having a worse Percival situation on her hands, even if she dies. At least in my opinion
