But then why would the step mom try to kill Ian? It doesn’t make sense. She would know it’s a hitman, and therefore hard to kill, if not impossible. And it doesn’t make much sense that she’d contracted him only for plotting this…

He’s one of the first suspects in my mind too. It’s hard to believe it’s any of them smh, but I do find the chairman pretty weird. However, he doesn’t seem the type to plan the murder of his own child, unless it’s a survival test lol. It might be someone outside the family too…

Why do I feel like it's the ML lol. The step mum's impure motives are clear but it doesn't seem like she hired the MC (idk still could be since she said she hired someone). It just feels like the ML has been overly lenient when the MC acts suspiciously, like when ML stole and looked through MC's fake glasses which were supposed to be for 5.0 prescription
It’s definitely suspicious how he behaves! When he saw Ian’s picture he seemed to have an Aha moment like he either knew him or he thought he was really sexy. I’m really curious about what’s in ML’s head. But i don’t think he’s the one who ordered the kill. He might know that Mc is not the real Ian though. But, again, I’m not sure. When he touched his hands he said “that’s why” after learning that Ian majored in sculpture. Which meant that that explained WHY he had such hard hands etc. which also means that he might have thought Ian was simply Ian. Can’t wait to find out what’s what though. I think the ML will enjoy the Mc’s real personality MUCH MORE than weak Ian.

True! ML could just really enjoy the bits and pieces of the MC’s real personality revealed through MC’s bad acting (god help him) hence doesn’t prob even if something is suspicious. I can’t wait for their banter once MC shows his true personality… we will be obliterated by their chemistry
didn’t expect this to be so good! What are your theories on who hired MC for the job? Do you think ML knows Mc is not whom he pretends to be? ML’s lust is really worth the ride, though, i love it.
