It’s true that typically the tops are more experienced in some BL, but my point is that when a bottom is promiscuous they got GOT to have some tragic/miserable/sad reason as to why they’re a “slut” it’s so stereotypical - meanwhile for tops it’s like pure silence. It’s so stereotypical, boring, but with good art it hurts. It’s actually not that bad of a story but it’s truly stereotypical.
Like the top has history with the bottom, he’s obsessed and in a power struggle.
Second couple has the same type of dynamic but reversed and the bottom has 10x the trauma cuz of course they do.
The only thing worth it of the story is the art but sincerely if you don’t like 1. Redundant story lines you won’t like the first couple 2. Unfortunate bottoms you won’t like the second couple.
Like also the second couple just is miserable all around. You don’t get much on the top at all, he’s just some kid that was beaten and then u get that the bottom was good to him. And you don’t get much on the bottom either, maybe something bad happened to him? They show u a flashback legit mid fuck of him getting gang SA’d by old fat fucks and he says it’s the first time he slept with someone sober and there was NO expansion to his story. They’ll probably do it in the sides but tbh idgaf. I hate miserable slut bottoms.
