I read some too but I think that’s a reasonable for a 35 yr old woman. I know you want fluff but many relationships have one person hurting while hurting the other. Insecurities, morality, internal conflicts these are something this character must confront. Most people do so the hard way. As the author is illustrating.
Plus, I don’t mind them not being together because age gaps don’t usually work out. He was her catalyst to believe in love again. that is fine. She was his catalyst to become more confident in love and be more stylish too. It’s okay. They don’t have to end up together but it would be good if they learned something good from the relationship.
Idk how the author will end this series. But I’m sat for the messiness that is coming. Just read it for yourself and don’t analyse the character like they taught you to do in school. Not on your own moral compass.
