“Shounen No Kyoukai” already did the omega having a fated mate that wasnt the male lead and them overcoming that and it was great, im assuming thats what they’re trying to do here but we’re already into volume 2 and they’ve been in a established relationship and the series had no foreshadowing as to that even being a potential plot line, so I don’t understand the direction this is going in. Plus the ml was always cocky but he’s been an absolute douchebag as of lately, he says he loves him but the way he acts is the complete opposite and this new insinuation that he’s going to put the mc into danger basically just so the mc can “prove” he loves him even though he was corner by the other guy to go into heat. so sad the way this has fallen off, i get the interest for dramatics but this wasn’t the way to do it, it’s just annoying and makes 0 sense.
