i think it's because he didn't want kihoon to be dragged down because of him anymore, he felt guilty for being the cause of misfortune in kihoon's life and just wanted kihoon to be happy now, no matter how painful it was for himself
if they knew the misfortune would be purged, WHY wouls yeon make kihoon forget him? i guess he didnt want kihoon to have trauma and worry abt him but it still stressed me tf out.. also yeons dick is too big but thats an issue with every manhwa ever made
