im so sick of these AI translations. Directly profiting of STOLEN WORK RAN THROUGH A LLM is actual degeneracy, because at that point it's 100% about greed and not passion. i genuinely hope the people running these "scanlation groups" get sued but its always independent translators having to go into hiding after a cease and desist while these slop machines will continue pumping out shit

For real, it's so unbelievably scummy and disgusting that they get away with this shit, too. I've reported all these AI scanners accounts to the admin and nothing is done.

Atp, if someone were to report these accounts and their websites, mangago would probably go down too if online authorities or actual legal people got involved, which is very possible now bc these AI scanners are actually getting people to pay for their slop (for some damn reason, ppl are stupid ig.). I genuinely see no reason why these scanners are still allowed to upload. Nothing is done to punish them, so more and more come out of the woodworks.

It's disgusting. It makes me not want to use this site anymore when all of my favourite stories are being plagued with AI scanners who upload the same chapters 5 times and then beg people for money for shit ass scans.

Genuinely, if nothing is done about these scanners, I can't see mangago lasting much longer, -especially if an Author decided to take legal action with these AI scanners. Maybe the admins should be more active within the community and see what's going on with their site...

I find it hilarious, though, that some users get restricted or outright deleted so easily, sometimes for dumb things... yet these AI scanners running phishing websites and promoting those scam websites aren't being touched despite many people begging for them to get deleted because they are causing actual harm to this site.

I wouldn't be shocked at if I got restricted in the future just for warning people about these scans and getting publicly frustrated with how the site is run
