u perfectly described what chinese 'stallion' novels/manhuas are— male power fantasy where a loser male mc gets power, revenge, money, and ofc, a harem of gorgeous women who turn into babbling love-sick idiots as soon as they're within 10 mile radius of mc
Like all chinese manhua that I'm hard-pressed not to generalise but this one is exteemly clichéd. You have the poor useless, male mc barely having food to eat & such loser that he can't make it in the world without some crazy power that gives hima boost.
He becomes absolutely powerful & also arrogant. And like this is an escapist nightmare coz all he wants to acquire are branded & designer with his newly found wealth. The author is still not satisfied. The insecurity ofbthe author & the mc cannot be validated with powers & wealth. They have to add a harem. We will not call it a romance because this is not a romance. You have ladies everywhere.
For some reason, at some point in the manga, there are only women around him-noona type, loli type & class-mate sexy type. They have all been dressed like sluts as usual & they all seem to lust after him. While the mc pretends to be naive about them. Literally there are no significant male characters around.
His so-called girlfriend, he just orders her to be his girlfriend after he daddy bombs her with designer goods. This is the image that such men have of women. That with wealth will come women. But the fact is that with wealth only, u will only get women who appreciate wealth. These men will act like they want a submissive, traditional wife in a modern package & be shocked that she is with him only because of his wealth & certainly not like lacklesz character
