The brothers had already died due to the mine giving out burying them in the process the MC eventually took days to stay where he was just for a hope of a sign that they atleast survive but the brothers already died so mc lives in regret and blame himself for the death of them. MC knows they are messed up and put him through so much but they are still the people who he was with for days stranded like him and couldn't help but grew fond of them.
