Man i forgot the plot

Plot from what i remember is the shorter guy discovered an abandoned chinchilla ends up taking him in then he meets light brown haired who also saw the chinchilla and was going to take him after school but shorter guy beat him to it and so they take care of it together then the other dude also came i think thats how it went im too lazy to look back. I remember the shorter guy is his owner and the other two would go to his house they find out they can understand the chinchilla if they hold his poop or keep it on them like their clothes. I cant remember exactly what the chinchilla was but im pretty sure he was like a spiritual thing or had powers and then other spiritual beings came about and one was a Cupid kind and shot the light brown haired and he fell for the shorter guy like hard and the short haired guy was freaked out at first but also ended falling for him. Thats really all i can truly remember
