Yes but Sisyhus was once a king. So hounds could be the subjects referred to, or it could be referring to the fact that all the hounds in this story are carrying out sisyhusian tasks. Both ml and Mc are hounds as we know see them going out to get material.
As the other commentor said sisyphus is a king how would he be a king with no subjects? (aka hounds) maybe that's why the hounds love him so much lol because he's their king
Guys it's in the title the hounds of sisyphus, the hounds belong to guwon so he is technically sisyphus, and what is the history of sisyphus? He CHEATS DEATH so yah he's probably an undead or smth or a half turned zombie considering the setting of the world. And for that fig smell it might be the scent of the cologne he sprayed in prev chapters, or another thing eluding that he's an undead like the other comments said.
