Well, I read this almost 16 years ago, there's another mindset. Obviously. It wasn't right but no one teaches u that in those times.

I see a bunch of people saying that they liked this when they were young and only NOW they see the problem... that is actually a scary mindset to have if u thought this was ok when u were a teen. I remember I despised this story (along with other works from this author). Stay safe ladies, and teach ur children not to be okay with this behavior, so they don't read stuff like this as teen and think it's okay.
