Well maybe I remember the order of what happened wrong because of my goldfish memory
The rapist was mentioned in the early chapter and ML even gave MC the usb that contents about the rapist’s father who is a powerful figure. But why they omit it? Is the artist planning to rewrite it and tell it in their own way?
i mean kim jichul has already been introduced briefly. i'm pretty sure they'll just show the rest of it as a flashback following the father's death.
The chapter before ml went on hiking with mc and pretend to be in rut(ch34-35)is supposed to happen after mc meeting the victim’s dad and drown himself in alcohol then going to confront the rapist and he met ml on the way back. They cut it all out and the story went on normally.
But maybe like you, the artist might want to include everything in one flashback instead of going back and forth like in the novel. But what would make the victim’s dad got killed when there were nothing lead to his death because the author omitted it. They will just show that he was killed and that will be it? Well, mc is smart so he will figure it out who is behind it
hmm not sure maybe it will just go like mc findings about the father's death > flashback to the case and how the father was grateful towards the mc > mc suspicious of the suicide > funeral where he meets jichul again > going back to the house and finding the phone with the video
Jichul kill the victim’s dad and came to the funeral because he thought mc was behind the reason why footage of him was released to the public, and he wanted to get back at mc. Since the reason and every interaction between mc and the victim’s dad, between mc and jichul were cut out, I’m not sure how they will show it…
The most important thing is omitted in the manhwa…how are they going to do it? Like yeah, it’s wonderful that they cut out the unnecessary scenes like when mc went on to investigate and stuff, but they omit when he met the rapist and the father of the victim, then meeting the rapist again to confront about the victim’s mother’s death and ML did something for mc, releasing a footage exposing the rapist. The season should be started with the news of the victim’s dad’s funeral but how that will happen if they omitted everything out like that?
