I honestly don’t like the way she handled the situation. Take a break from what exactly?? being there for your partner after learning what happened is just crazy. That’s crazy trauma from his side especially how shit and toxic Korean society is. And her response is like “oh you kept this from me? too late let’s take a break”

I kinda agree with you on this. Like be fr, hell we were all dissapointed of the fact that he did HIDE something from her. But after what was revealed, he's totally INNOCENT and a victim, and that madafakin btch professor was just obsessed with him and still is !
For her side, she should do better, be mature and understanding that it was all hard for him in the PAST. Move on and forgives him for LYING, it's not like he's CHEATING ???!!!

She probably groomed/assaulted him and has smth she's still holding against him, threatening him with. He doesn't feel comfortable sharing that trauma with his gf bc he feels shame about what happened (even though it's not his fault, he blames himself).
