so why doram feels betrayed or hurt or hatred towards ml?

did you read the previous chapters ? the flashbacks literally tell all

he has resentments towards the prince bc his father slaughtered his whole family and he suffered for years afterwards before omi hid his memories

I skipped the whole childhood thing of doram

I thought the childhood story was implying a pedophile thing so i skipped it

Prince doesn't fall in love with doram until he's an adult when he rediscovers him years later as a government slave

There is not one implication of romance to the young doram from the young sable tiger's eyes on the flashback. In fact, he was curious as to why he cant see young doram's thoughts etc and forgot about doram entirely after thier first meet up. Only after years and he saw doram's name as a slave did he remembered that he encountered such a child whose mind he cant read.
