I really disliked Masamune, I love tsundere code characters but him?? nope, what a brat an pain in the ass, more than a lovely character masking their affection he seems like a spoiled brat which is contrary to the bg of his childhood, no wonder his cousin was able to steal all those guys so easy. And I just can't understand how Sen developed feels for masamune like why? where? WHEN? he is under a spell from the start! and the spell is so powerful that even the cousin can get his share of kissies from him so I can't really feel like Masa and Sen are meant to be. The cover art was so cute tho, and i love this author previous works but this one just doesn't cut it for me which is sad cuz I love fantasy elements in my yaoi :c
Also the mascots are just for show, like where they really necessary? they do nothing and we don't get an explanation of why they are there, just cuz is magic?? nggh Σ( ￣□￣||)
