The author did an excellent job portraying internal conflict, trauma, and emotional struggles, but what was that ending?
I needed more closure, especially for the other two characters. I understand that their roles were mainly to help the protagonist confront and overcome his trauma, but they deserved proper resolutions of their own as well. I wanted to know whether they were able to heal from their personal traumas, how they reconciled with each other, and what their lives looked like afterward.
There are so many unanswered questions and gaps left to fill. The emotional buildup throughout the story was strong, which is why the ending felt especially disappointing and incomplete.
