I finished the novel today and I wholeheartedly agree. Up until the very end they don’t resolve their feelings but then after one night of reunion it’s flipped . This story was fun to read because of the drama but the frustration of miscommunication for 1k pages .. yeah

Cannot agree with u more I skipped some chapters in between n even after that there's no improvement

It was hard finding the translation, idk what possessed me to finish it , I thought it would have a satisfying chasing arc but I thought that ML didn’t really grovel or chase that much

Damnn for me I really haven't seen a bl novel ( esp Korean) where they get a good groveling or begging. The mc just forgive

I still read it up to chp 70 bc i’ve been marinating the translation for a long time and even then i was so frustrated idk i feel like the mc can’t achieve anything by himself in his new life and he’s always get helped by ml so it’s not satisfying to me

MC was mistreated behind ML back and he never really did anything to protect him from his hostile family, only later he felt apologetic and tried to intervene if his family was trying to verbally abuse MC

Once they get divorced ML makes MC to go visit his grandma every Saturday, and ML easily accepts doing this just from the goodness of his heart even though he loathes ML and his family, except the grandma

ML does everything to hold on to MC so he proposes a sponsorship contract, and incidentally everything that ML tries doing by himself goes to shit, so he accepts it

When the sponsorship contract is void, they then for real break contact but it’s only for 6 months. MC did literally everything and anything to break free from ML, even the sponsorship contract. He had no intention of staying together with ML no matter how much he insisted to getting back together. BUT, then, somehow they meet in America 6 months later. They run into each other on few occasions, one of them being in a bar. They see each other getting flirted with and get jealous. Then ML escorts MC to his hotel, they part ways, after closing the door on ML, MC opens again and that’s then ML kisses MC. They have a passionate night. They decide to keep in touch and talk about it when they go back to Korea.

Literally, the funniest thing, MC gets pregnant from that one night of reunion. And they get back together pretty quickly afterwards. All that intense resentment MC had kind of fizzled out. ML was not really chasing much but did some yearning like buying posters of MC and using MC’s perfume to remind him of his scent.

So yeah, the story started dramatic with intense emotions from MC, and throughout the story ML was always characterised as “expressionless”, all that build up, misunderstandings and drama was resolved, but it was pretty mild in my opinion.

So that’s the gist.
