It was 90% about lucy. The side stories should have focused on the characters that the readers already have a connection with. What’s the point of introducing a new character that frankly doesn’t have anything special or a reason to like her and giving them a love story. I would have rather read about how alec becomes the greatest person on the continent, the queen and her aide, or robert and sauv, jacob, literally anything else
