Because Ashley kept Connor in isolation to protect him from their dangerously psychopathic children, the kids grew up feeling abandoned and were raised under Ashley's cold and harsh rules. This abusive upbringing produced deeply damaged, toxic Alphas like Grayson, Chase, etc.
For the situation: Grayson and Stacy wanted to experiment on Connor, to see what would happen (because they were deeply disconnected emotionally). By poisoning Koi with dish detergent and spoiled food, Koi didn't notice because of a trauma that caused him to be unable to smell. He barely made it and since then he's been separated from the kids.
Why is no one talking about how fine Connor Niles is??? Lowkey feel bad for him because imagine having to be isolated from your own kids because they tried you... Kinda funny
