At some point this conversation gets fucking tiring yall - he’s PRETTY NOT SHOTA LOOKING. You see his younger sister, and in the other works you see the actual kids and if they looked like it then I’d say yes ur right, but ur not. stop the twink hate.
It’s like yall have got to see what the artist intent is, are they way off base from other characters (aside from the ML) or are they just short and skinny? and this - This is just a pretty twink.
It honestly just goes to show more how yall basic etiquette when it comes to BL nowadays - it’s fine to voice ur opinion on a discussion board, but to be purposefully obtuse as to the art style is disingenuous.
I agree there are BL that are drawn disgustingly (manga I can name a few, manhwa a good example is Beyond the sea or some shit - that bottom really do be looking suspect even for someone who enjoys twinks) but I feel like the best comparison to BL like this here is the whole “y/n insert” bs. They’re drawn as a stereotype - a pretty, skinny bottom with the big bodied top.
Right! - and also One Summer Day! Seriously the uke's height and face there is kinda suspish lol. I mean Haedong isn't really small, his height probably is like average asian males (between 162-173cm). In Scent and Sensibility, Moon Dobin is actually 180 cm, but because of his cute face, also that he's an omega, he looks cute and baby faced. It's just that Tae-oh is reeaally tall (and most people around him are taller than him) that's why. It's the same case here. In here, most of scenes are just the two of them so the height difference is evident. I don't get the hate.

the artist twinkified the uke and he look like a child, I dont get artist who porpusely draw the uke like a child and the top a matured man, even if you say the uke is of age but the way ypu draw him to look like a child? I am not mad, just critizicing this korean manwha pattern that can be also observed in other bl manwha
