I agree there are BL that are drawn disgustingly (manga I can name a few, manhwa a good example is Beyond the sea or some shit - that bottom really do be looking suspect even for someone who enjoys twinks) but I feel like the best comparison to BL like this here is the whole “y/n insert” bs. They’re drawn as a stereotype - a pretty, skinny bottom with the big bodied top.
