This story is traumatic, but I still read it, really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend it. I started crying around chapter 6 and basically only stopped for brief stints after that. Chapter 53 in particular really fucked me up. There is no satisfying end to this. This is hurt, NO comfort. It will leave you empty.
The ML is an ASS. I'd rate serial killers higher than this guy. As painful as his suffering was, and as much as I wouldn't wish it on anyone, I still don't think it was enough for that scumbag. I actually wish the side story gave us a look into a hopeful future for the Doctor as a form of comfort instead of the letter from the ML/ex but oh well.
I will say that a lot of the story and heartache was undermined by poor-quality uploads and bad translations, but hey, this is piracy, so... I ended up grabbing the official English release and, y'all, somehow it's even WORSE. So if you want to support the author, maybe. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
