I really didn't hate her at the beginning of the story but near the end, she began to pmo like crazy like girl please mind your business I'm happy she got revenge on her dad but I don't understand why she randomly turned cruel, it wasn't even done in a satisfying way. I was all for her rebelling against her family at the start, but it felt like the story randomly changed gears.
Seyeon getting such a nerfed ending made me so upset. She was abandoned by her mother and now she's abandoned again by the only person she had left AND she's still continuing to self harm??? What kinda message does that send to the viewers bro Till her very last appearance she had to feel like she was useless and that's so tough to read.
Wohn also started frustrating me at the end because she didn't get any development regarding her self image/ she still saw herself as a monster instead of learning to accept her vampirism
Atp they should've become a toxic ahh throuple. In my heart Seyeon and Wohn got back together and are actively trying to heal and be more healthy.
I know some stories are just made to be toxic, I'm not opposed to that, and obviously going in, I knew it would be unhealthy. But the ending felt so rushed and unsatisfying. It would be different if Seyeon was being evil for evils sake but her actions stemming from her trauma and insecurities, makes her ending extra sad for me.
I really did enjoy the first half of the story, I just wish the ending was better.
