Art is pretty good and the story is somewhat good. I say somewhat because it is absolutely solid in some parts and absolute garbage on some. Characters are alright as well, the story just makes them bad with chapters, especially towards the end, everyones just so boring. After 110, i didn't want to continue it, it's kinda boring, there are few good moments but it's mostly boring.
The starting was solid, loved the fmc it was cool seeing her have knowledge about medicine and usually just do her own thing, it was understandable why she was calm and optimistic, her background made sense. Ml too, he was rude and cold, but seems he had a pretty rough childhood so it was understandable. Their romance was pretty good too. Things were slow and made sense, but it's also the fact that they'd run into each other every damn time, it gets to a point where it's no longer a coincidence but just a plot point. But it's still not annoying.
Then comes the part where they run away and everything starts going downhill. I absolutely loved them making this choice, i was glad the ml was willing to leave his toxic dad, be with chloe and start all over. Then comes the sister, who's for some reason the literal God that knows EVERYTHING in a world where magic hasn't been mentioned once, has shit ton of money. It gets to a point ngl.
And then the family reunion happens blah blah, everything in the world is suddenly ok now, killing of the mls mom by the father, abandoning the sis to be killed is suddenly ok with just a simple meeting.
Then they for some reason decide to give Chloe a complete makeover and make her completely different, this is just me being sad that they didn't let her hair remain short.
And then for some reason, they start killing EVERYONE left and right like what, is this how things go, just killing off people they don't like and then everyone doesn't gaf apparently. Ik they're the bad guys but like wouldn't it still be odd if a duke suddenly disappeared after a meeting and it's not like they were caught being a traitor, it was simply them speaking. And also the fact that they made a new duke just out of thin air, there's no logic n shit. Author just really didn't know how to get rid of these people that never needed to exist in the first place.
And then comes the way mc and ml resolve things, fmc runs away from problems and ml just kisses it out, especially the thing about the making of a medical institute. That was such an amazing stuff, and then they ruin it the very next chapter. Fml.
Didn't continue after that, but seems her infertility issue magically disappeared too, sucks cause it'd have been cool to see them be proud of adopting and love the kid as their own.
There's also good things in the story, like the fact that despite all this fmc still does think about the general public and start using her knowledge that started all this, to help out. Love that the story makes her a capable and cool af character. It's a shame she keeps getting overshadowed by these moments of smut and random fights and stupid arguments, over and over again.
It's an alright story, the author definitely had cool plans but the story was definitely rushed too, especially after the 100 chapters. Shame cause the fmc is genuinely the best the story could get, ml is alright but atleast not fully toxic.
