The ending wasn't entirely bad, especially since Jaekyung finally admitted to his mistakes and worked on himself before it ended. However, it still felt rushed and forced. I really wish we had a few more chapters so we could actually see him put in the effort. It feels like the author did what many authors do: they end the story right after a bad relationship gets sorted out just to avoid extra drama. But doing that actually hurts the development of the characters. Ending the main story so suddenly forces us to just accept it as it is, without any space to breathe. Even if the author adds more details in side stories, the main plot and side stories are two different things. These important moments should have been in the main book. It would have been much better to see their growth there, and save the side stories for their future and the other couples. (Kim dan is too kind for this world). This is just my honest opinion and no harm is intended (so please don't come after me). Still, I hope they live happily ever after.
