Dane goes into heat while the two are trapped in the mansion and tries to ravage Grayson. Literally tears his clothes off. Grayson shrieks and tries to run away bc Dane in heat is scary. If I remember correctly, Grayson thought Dane would top him and it did cross Dane's mind for a second to top Grayson but seeing how tall and large Grayson is, he decides he'll ride Grayson instead.

It's actually Dane that is date abhorrent and Grayson has to convince Dane to date him. And after the mansion, Dane considers them something like fuck buddies, but Grayson considers them dating. When Dane tells Grayson they aren't dating and that he never took Grayson seriously, Grayson becomes broken hearted. Though he's still persistent. It's not until he realizes he will never be Dane's top priority and that Dane will always prioritize other lives over his bc he's a firefighter, Grayson finally gives up.
