Deborah in German sounds just like "Der Bohrer" and that translates to "the drill". A relative of mine named their daughter Deborah and I just can't get over it. It's to funny and I need to be careful not to actually call her "Der Bohrer". But I'm in a pickle as I can't call her Debby or Bora either, because their parents and grandparents are name purists. Deborah's mother is named Franziska and it was never allowed to call her "Franzi". It's so stupid, but I'm always having fun in my mind.
Sadly, I get constantly reminded of that, while reading this story.
