You're so right about this , I kind of dislike how she use the loophole , I felt a certain discomfort by the situation even though it turns out to be alright and you actually describe ittt , I guess now I know

Listen, I understand everything turned out great at the end, but that still doesn't eliminate that she abused a loophole to leak his secret to the Lord even if she had a good intention. She could've talked with Geo first about trusting and telling the Lord but instead she did something sketchy. Although getting a connection with the Lord is great, realistically I would cut the connection with the merchant. Not only does leaking his secret is a breach of trust, she's also not needed anymore at this point. Besides, let not forget she found her secret by tailing and spying on him.
