as an eldest child whose parent also abandoned her, this is NOT IT. i understand that sometimes somehow we can outgrow versions of ourselves who cling to the painful pasts but boy u don’t just outgrow the damage of having your childhood traded for survival. outgrowing the past means moving forward but it does not guarantee forgiving the debt of a stolen childhood. hye sung literally have had to raise himself out of someone else’s absence. he lost a parent and his right to become a child. I AM NOT SATISFIED but to each their own i guess
