I as a reader can probably never forgive the mom but I feel like I get where hyesung is coming from.......it's like the classic toxic Asian parents and children relationship, you can't just hate them, you want closure from them too but you'll never stop cursing at them.......not saying my parents are like that but I get where hyesung is coming from, and we as mature readers should accept that we didn't get more drama out of this encounter
