Free him, time heals but there will always be scars that can’t be seen. And unless you’ve been in his situation, zip it. If someone abandoned you and you’ve been through shit, I know you can’t forgive and forget either. I feel bad for him because his husband and son betrayed him, but he already did his best by going with them. And what? Closure? Some people don’t need it. :)
