this author has a trend of writing extremely long periods of building tension, a really awkward high point, and an underwhelming ending. like "ok i have to resolve these 4 points and then its done" but just kinda never fully resolves the tension of the early story. Painter of the night had a similar thing happening in my opinion. Overall great art but the sheer amount of rapey chapters and lack of chemistry. RIP Jinx and grandma
