Yeah I've read something similar too. But in this it actually is a completely new world, or should I say timeline. Everyone was reborn but it seems like the people who got crushed under the rubble due to the shopping mall collapsing(ukes backlash) still retained their memories. I think all the people are the same but slightly different is all and that the uke doesn't realize due to his spotty memory
