He does like kinda remember talking to a lil boy tho just not the hard details, and ppl with trauma (in this case seunghyuns parents treatment of him) can have trouble recalling their childhood in detail so maybe that’s it? Idk

It's normal to forget people over time. I barely remember any kids I've played with when I was their age.
i get chaejun not remembering anything bc of the trauma and all that but why did seunghyun forget everything he was old enough to remember
