I’m sad I can’t get into this, Chloe doesn’t seem as smart as I would expect the top spy of a kingdom to be. And idk I cringe in a bad way at all the commander moments. It feels out of place, and I think I would’ve enjoyed the story more if romance portion was way smaller than it is. I really tried to love it, like with all my heart lol. But 21 chapters in and I just can’t. Still love nonna and Chloe and I think I would’ve enjoyed the story more, if 40+ chapters were solely about them and then the captain gets introduced slowly from there :(
