But adding the end where ML is still very much hurt didn’t really add shit to the plot. Made the hate sex feel so unnecessary to the plot, like, we could have gotten here without the sex and still ended in the same place with the end of the chapter. And, idk, this smut didn’t feel as juicy as usual. Smut is the icing on the cake, but the plot is hurting rn so the smut needed to be a little tastier and it wasn’t really groundbreaking imo. I hope the angst ends. I need them to be happy again.
