I wasn’t really worried about this tbh. I just expect that with the current changes to the timeline, the mom won’t get pregnant with the same exact sperm/egg/timing, so we’re good. If she still gets preggo that’s just a sibling.

Isn’t it parallel universe? Her dad and mom never consumed her here. I think she is not in danger

The beginning chapters the dragon said they went back in time

But her very presence has caused changes to the timeline, so imo the moment she went back in time it became a parallel universe. Even if she kills her father she won’t disappear, bc it’s no longer the same world.

The parallel timeline thing doesn’t work for every story, as it has happened before.

The novel does only mention it as going back in time, they don’t describe it as a parallel universe. I guess it would mean it’s on the same timeline, and rewriting events.

There was discussion in the novel where the dragon and the dad are talking about how two Astier can’t exist in the same timeline, so one of them will definitely vanish. Dad said will it be resolved if he doesn’t have a child. Dragon said, the world will find a way to make a baby astier no matter what. Because fate is fixed.

She dies, then gets revived. It apparently isn’t fully explained, but a user theorizes that the world tree and the lord of the underworld repaid her by allowing astier’s existence in the current timeline. So the part that said “a baby astier will be born is absolute” has become null and void by the 2 rulers. So the parents will never physically have her born. Her body and mind will stay a 4 year old for 11 years until the timeline is fixed. She will only continue to grow up after 11 years has passed.

They handled it so that they announced her birth 7 years later and showed her in public another 4 years later so her age will match.
