Respectfully, no. The author buys into using tropes that are prolific and toxic in yaoi, and it perpetuates normalization of abuse, coercion, etc. Therapy for everyone, including authors like Mingwa that normalize abuse.

soooo…i heard we’re not JUST hating on jaekyung but also mingwa (author of jinx)… guys, can we like…not..? i get hating jaekyung or not liking mingwa’s work but giving them shit for it is just not it. like yeah, i’m also not the biggest fan of both their works (bj alex and jinx) and criticizing them when needed but dude theyre genuinely just someone trying to enjoy drawing gay dudes. even if the story is weird or controversial sometimes. dont like, dont read, easy as that. i can understand reading jinx to hate on jaekyung or to make fun of him, but please dont attack the author for it. anyways, fuck jaekyung, he doesnt deserve a happy ending, justice for my guy kim dan.
