and maybe possibly that's a part of why he likes head so much (other than the face and memories [well obv memories make up who you are so for me he's the 'most' henry]) bc it's easier to love a henry who (he believes) doesn't love him back rather than acknowledging that maybe henry did love him but also sucked idk
although it seems like victor has very low self-worth/self-esteem and never voiced his feelings so maybe henry was trying to make him jealous (seeing that one panel where v was watching henry with others and when he left it seemed like henry was looking at the door)
maybe i'm reading too much into it and victor just doesn't love heart bc he doesn't look like henry??
hmm my theory is that victor accidentally killed henry and is repressing his memory of it and that's why he rejects heart's love bc if he accepted that henry really did love him then A) he killed the one he loved and the one who loved him, and/or B) accepting that henry did love him but was a shitty bumass doodoo lover. and maybe that's why he drunkenly revived those 3 guys bc if he revived a "whole" henry then henry would remember what happened? bc theres no way cutting and stitching henry's body parts into/onto someone and then reviving them would be easier. well anyway that's just my 2 cents
