She's lived an abused life of always having to walk on eggshells and be mindful of other's emotions before her own. Her family is her hope and reason for living in this timeline. She was upset with what he said, but didn't blame him because she feels guilty for being born. She blames herself because she learned she should be ashamed for being alive.

It's like they just want to make her a considerate child this second then have her say, "well I know my brother hates me but I can't be help that I'm a cursed child."
