I still dont understand how magic is forbidden for some people. Sure people could use magic as a weapon, or manipulate. But still it doesn't make any sense for me how magic, the tools that could help people, even the civilization is limited to a certain people. How would you know that one person is worthy for a knowledge of a magic? And how would one know the others isn't? It's like saying the poors don't deserve knowledge and science but people with money and power can. But again, how many bad people with money and power use knowledge, as a weapon towards the poor???
I think reddit users are a perfect examples why is magic forbidden for most people. When only a small community knows abt it, it's easier to control them.
