There's so many things that don't add up between the stories. Like in KML they say alpha can't mark omega then in KMIYC the whole plot is based on ml being marked by an alpha. Also they say that when marked they don't react to other's pheromones but then they make josh react to the pher of Chase and Chase isn't like "oh he react to my pher so I'm the one who marked him". Plus in one story it's impossible for omega not to react to alpha pher to a certain level then in DMIYC and KMIYC here omega are good with just a suppressant. And so many other things lool, for the convenience of the plot
Alpha can't mark?in kml?Keith did in this Verse if omega marks on a alpha he can't erase it but omega can have multiple alphas in kmiyc joshua let himself marked by chase because he liked him in dmyic dane is not affected because he is dom omega..dom omega you could say are the strongest they can knock alpha by there pheromones and pheromones don't affect them much they can also hide there pheromones
It's not that they can't but in KML Grayson said to Yeon how unfair it was that an omega can call exclusivity on an alpha by marking while alpha can't. The first time Keith marked Yeon it didn't work only after they got back he did it again and succeeded I guess ? I don't get it honestly. In KMIYC It was just an hypothesis, the multiple mark, they didn't really say more, it's just Henry said that so idk. I still haven't read DMIYC entirely so idk about the rest but i guess you're right
Some people are getting everything confused... Josh was never a dominant omega. Josh is a regular omega. He's strong and all, but he's regular. Yeonwoon is a beta converted into an omega. Dane, on the other hand, is truly a dominant omega. Yes, dominant omegas are rare. In the Miller family, there are three for the following reason: Koi is rare, but from the union of a dominant omega with a dominant alpha, only dominant children can be born, whether they are alphas or omegas. That's why Bliss (Chase and Grayson's brother) is also dominant. Dane is a real rarity. It's no coincidence that he and Grayson are the only dominant couple among Ash and Koi's children. In this universe, an omega can be marked by an alpha, but he can have several alphas, and the mark only remains if he wants it or is in love with the alpha – that's the case with Josh. An alpha will only have an omega if he is marked. The most powerful beings in this universe are the dominant omegas. They can knock down alphas with their pheromones, sense the presence of other dominant omegas, heal them, and can disguise themselves so easily that they can even hide their uteruses. There's only one way to locate a dominant omega, if not by accident: if they want to. That's why Grayson can't find his omega in the usual way, because he'll knock him unconscious as many times as he wants. The only way is if he lies with that omega and confirms it through the moth mark. The moth mark only appears when the omega is in heat, and as I said, that's not so easy, because they can pass for betas very easily and aren't subdued by an alpha. Only five alphas together can subdue a dominant omega to heat – and that's what they do with Angel (Keith's father).
The butterfly issue doesn't appear in Kiss Me If You Can for the simple reason that it adds nothing to the story, since Josh is a regular omega, in love with and marked by Chase, and can be subdued by him if he wants. What would be the point of talking about the butterfly in this story??? Ash and Koi don't appear much (but there are mentions of them, even in the manhwa, albeit lightly), because Chase has distanced himself from his family. He hardly maintains contact, and that's why it doesn't make much sense to delve into Ash and Koi in KMIYC. In DMIYC, however, it makes perfect sense to talk about the butterfly, Ash, and Koi. Dane is dominant, so the moth is the clue for Grayson to find him. Ash and Koi closely follow/watch over Grayson (and I should point out that in Ash's case it's not because he adores him, but because he fears he might murder someone). Grayson is treated like a silly mental patient or a potential murderer by his parents, which is why their presence is so important in this story. Those who only follow the manhwas might feel like something is missing here and there, but the novels tell the saga of all the Millers, from the grandparents to the children.
In this universe, dominant omegas are hunted, often kidnapped and sold to wealthy families, as the dominant gene in omegas is a rare mutation. Wealthy alphas have an interest in keeping these omegas captive both because only from a relationship between a dominant alpha and omega will the offspring be guaranteed to be dominant (it can happen without one of them being dominant, but it's not certain...), and because they are more powerful than alphas. As I said, a dominant omega can only be subjugated if five dominant alphas join together and subject him to heat at the same time. This happened to Angel; he lived peacefully with his family until a neighbor denounced him, and he was kidnapped, sold to five families of mega-powerful alphas, and is kept captive by them. Angel's story is not yet complete, but parts are mentioned in some novels of the "Kiss me..." or "...If you can" series (Zig announced that he will write it and that it will be a revenge story against these alphas). That's precisely why Ashley wants to become president: to try and better protect dominant omegas, since both her son and her husband are dominant, and even though he's a senator, he doesn't have enough power to go against the whole of society. That's also why Dane talks about running away if Grayson discovers him. He has no problem revealing himself as an omega, but he can't reveal that he's dominant because he doesn't know Grayson's intentions.
Even if I read the unofficial translation, if josh was a regular omega his brain would've turn to mush like those twins when Grayson pher bombed him at chase's mention(i understand that josh is on suspresasnts, but then with or without suppressant thats a huuuuuugee difference). Why didn't he colaspe that time? The women at the fire station did!? She must definitely be on suppressants right?! Grayson did say that time "either you are really a beta or a dominant omega" (i know that is in the official translation). Im even more confused now is josh really not dominant? How the fuck is he able to stand at parties? Also didn't Emma mention her brother being a Dominant omega in KML?
First. Unofficial still unofficial, a lot of them made by IA with a lot of mistakes .
Second , Josh is marked by Chase . He didn’t respond to Graysons pheromones because marked omegas just react to their alphas pheromones. That’s why Josh uses a tone of suppressants to work for Chase . Other alphas don’t have any effect on him . Every time Josh gets affected by pheromones , the pheromones are always Chases . But also Chase is suppressing his pheromones with the pills , that’s why there hasn’t being a lot of problems ( although it’s affecting Chases heath )
And no , Emma never said anything about his brother being a dominant omega .
Being a dominant omega is not something people in this universe broadcast because it would be dangerous for them .
A lot of your conclusions are from you making things up for missing a lot of information while reading
Okay you just read a bad translation. There are only four dom omegas so far - angel, koi, bliss, dane . Josh isn't one and he doesn't react to others pheromones cause he's marked by chase and chase is on meds for his phermones.. and obv you saw josh chewing on that candy for phermones and he went to dane for stronger suppressants. Dominant omegas don't need it regularly to hide themselves. If they are diagnosed it will show up as beta.

All this butterfly mark or the knock of with pheromones Is not at all in 'kiss me if you can' even in the manhua Is there were some mismatch with 'kiss me, liar' I swear it feels like this whole thing wasn't planned and it gets added with each new novel/manhua. It don't feel like they belong in the same universe, if I didn't knew Grayson and chase were brother I would've thought they were different universe. Also wasn't there like 3 novels before 'desire me if you can' why is this one getting made to manhua first, suddenly introducing koi and Ashley like that felt like injustice. Like there's no mention of the parents so far in 'KMIYC' but they are suddenly appearing here, people who are only reading the manhua would be so lost...
