I don’t think she’s 2D tbh, she’s just selfish? I agree that they haven’t given her enough screen time for us to understand her personality, but her actions shows that she’s not a genuinely good person but was born into circumstances that favor her for instance she still hasn’t given MCs mom the key to the house(ugh that shows she’s the lady of the house) it’s impossible for her to be oblivious to what that does to her stepmom’s image, or when their aunt came and she walked side by side with her (reread that part cause they explained why that not good) there are a bunch of other instances, so I can’t agree that they’ve given us nothing, rather it’s not enough. A comment above said the work is becoming male focused and I agree. But I recommend rereading cause I also didn’t feel the work like that but after rereading Yh it made more sense
While it does show the sister trying to sort of sideline the step mother, it does make sense for her character to do that. The step mother could easily be viewed as an affair partner of her father (even if she is not) by the younger sister given how fast the remarriage occurred and their past history. In the past remarriage like these would happen in the nobility after the children of the house are married off to avoid unnecessary gossip to effect their prospects.
Not siding with any of the character though, they are all varying degree of selfish.
