And if I had to guess what the old guy said, it would either be something like "you guys are so bad at protecting her, look how bad she's doing, give her to us instead!" Or "why didn't it fully work? Is she weak?" (Since some branches stayed black) Which I doubt tho since at the end, he was still trying to be their wife as well/instead
That makes so much more sense. I was initially thinking he was accusing mc of not healing their tree properly (hence the attack) but got confused when he still tried to marry her near the end. Your theory makes much more sense! Thanks!
What I really wanna know is what they were arguing about that caused the white haired one to point a finger at MC and then Kalan punched him. What happened?? They don’t really address it
