the leader of the brimmed hats said his mission was achieved that night since they forced them to make an exception meaning it will be broken again and cause chaos. ofc ppl are going to die without the help of the witches but i feel like that’s going to be better then what is about to become like wayyy worse. Like imagine dying without spells tens times worse better to erase everyone’s memories and keep it pushing.
While I'm happy seeing vinanna okay I personally think easthies idea of the memory of one night being a small cost is bs Idk if it's my personal biases because I hate him (I don't think he's poorly written I just hate him as a character) but it isn't for him to judge if the cost is worth or make that trade ither
