Nono, I feel the same way, the abuse had gone way too far for the story to wrap it up like this. I’ve read stories in which ml abuses mc, physically or mentally, like cozy obsession and free in dreams. It’s a story, the object the author choose to tell can be anything and abuse can be really interesting if done right. Both in cozy obsession and in free in dreams, it was not only acknowledged, but also explored and developed. Free in dreams needed two hundred chapters, cozy obsession three lives. We don’t read manhwa to follow what we read irl, but to have a compelling story, here in jinx all was pretty half assed, especially because the author put so much emphasis on the abuse and used like 70 chapters to portray it. You can’t end it like that in thirty chapters, skipping on their best moments (I’m talking about the time they spent together in Kim Dan’s hometown right before jjk’s match). Jjk hasn’t developed as a character, he just became another person completely and not because it was processed in the story, just because at some point he became another person with another behaviour and characteristics. Idk, it feels pretty hollow

helppp its so weird seeing them so lovely dovey loll but finallyyy ;-; and everyones right you could barely call that a redemption arc feel like there was alot of things the author skipped over but maybe its just me..
