I think he meant that he will allow himself to hate cheol because he doesn't want to behead him, the story minyoung told that the woman loves the man so much so she's willing to have him dead and so minyoung will hate cheol not kill him, minyoung is such a complicated character but I love him anyway
Honestly i wanted to point out it was literally just a metaphor but i was afraid that would require too much reading comprehension for some…so i fibbed a bit..
SOME of yall must’ve not been GENUINELY reading because evbs freaking out about Minyoung saying he would behead Cheol like..I dont think yall rmbr when after they broke up Minyoung almost killed Cheol in his sleep until he said his name in his sleep so he didn’t like HES CRAZY
